Jaystar had been tired, yet wide awake lately. She had been think about her precious clan. The she-cat hadn't had a good's night sleep in a few days, making her slightly irritable.
She stalked around, hoping to find the sweet sent of a mouse or squirrel. Sadly, she could find non. Sulking, she then found this to be the best moment to think everything over. Jaystar looked at her paws, they were dirty with dried mud. Finical, she started to lick and clean the mud off, wondering if the kits would be alright. As she did this movement, she did not hear the slow footsteps coming from behind her, she was too busy with thought. |

Distantpride stretched softly, a fairly plump mouse hanging from his jaws, faint blood blending in around his black muzzle from where he had caught the small creature. It would make a good meal for one of the apprentice's when he got back to camp. He paused, setting the mouse down as a familiar scent draped over the black tom.
Twitching an ear he curiously walked forward [Picking up the mouse in the process], spotting the easy figure of his leader Jaystar. "Hello Jaystar. How have you been?" He inquired, sitting the mouse back down as his sleek tail twitched from side to side.

Jaystar jumped lightly, she felt embarrassed that she had not heard him behind her. She then slowly turned around to face him, her ear flicked, "Hello Distantpride." She gave him a pure, happy to she one of her warriors.
She then got up and padded over to him, sniffing the mouse curiously, "Where did you find this? There might be more in the area." She then turned her gaze toward a small bird, it fluttered it's wings gently, but stayed on the ground. Quickly, she got down and started to stalk the small creature. When she leaped, it started to fly away, but the Thunderclan leader was too fast for it, biting it's neck and killing it swiftly. She then murdered a soft thank you to Starclan. |

"Oh, I found it a little ways back in the Tall Pines... There's not a lot out today, though.. It's shame to say.. 'Sides, the clan does need all it can get." Distantpride admitted, nodding his head thoughtfully. He blinked his eyes silently, watching his leader as he stayed politely silent, not wanted to scare off the prey she had in her sights.
"Nice catch Jaystar." The young tom said softly, nodding softly. He smiled calmly, shifting his yellow eyes to look calmly at his leader.

"Thank you." She gave him a purr, she hadn't been able to relax like this for a while. She ten slowly lye down, stretching her paws, "Relax with me." She mewed, flicking her tail beside her.
Jaystar rolled over on her back, looking up at him with the eyes of a kit, she then batted him playfully, "I need to play a little." |

Distantpride smiled in amusement, watching his leader with calm and fairly amused yellow eyes. Rolling his eyes out of amusement as playfully swiped a paw back at the she-cat before he stretched softly and laid down beside her, his tail calmly flicking from side to side. "It is peaceful out here.. Isn't it?" He asked with a small nod.

The Thunderclan leader gave him a smile of tranquil, "Yes, though I have been worrying about the kits lately." Suddenly being reminded of this, made her become distressed again, her tail flicked nervously and her ear twitched.
Quickly she shot up, "We should get back to camp, it will be sunset soon." |

Distantpride's ears twitched softly but he gave a nod, seeing that she was worried over the kits of Thunderclan.. Well, he couldn't blame her.. With the beginning of warmer weather came the more likely cause of more predators and the likely cause of allergies for the kits. Giving a nod the young tom grasped the mouse back in his mouth before replying through the small creature, "Yeah.. Sure."

Jaystar nodded, happy that he did not say anything about her strange behavior.
As they padded back to camp, Jaystar looked around, the bird clenched tightly in her mouth, "Hmmm." She murmured, seeing a small shadow, "Wait." She whispered, setting down her prey. She got down low, there was a plump vole, unaware of the two cats presence. When she jumped, it did not have the time to even sense her coming before she bit it's neck swiftly and kill it. |

Distantpride smiled through his mouse, his yellow eyes watching the she-cat intently. "Great catch Jaystar.." He said with a nod after he had sat the mouse down against the ground.
