Hypocrisy stretched softly, walking into the camp with calm and fairly eerie yellow eyes as he slowly shifted his eyes around. Around his muzzle the slightly dried blood from his earlier and cannibalistic kill. The tom slightly smirked through his prey though grimaced all of the more. The taste of the thrush hanging from his maw was just... Killing him inside. Automatically the tom spat the bird onto the fresh kill pile, shuddering in his complete disgust.

"Speech" NewLeaf... She use to love the season, but now it was just another season, like the rest of them. At least it was cooler during the Spring than it will be during the Summer. When that season comes along, long fur cats like herself will die of heatstroke... Probably not, but it was fun to be dramatic.
Amaris let out a huff of annoyance, amber eyes glaring up at the sun. She would much rather be asleep right now, but sleep wouldn't come. At least her eyes will not sting once that dreaded ball of flames moves to the other side of the Earth. The she-cat scanned the clearing, searching for something or someone to occupy her time with. Amaris didn't have anything to do, really, until nightfall, so boredom overtook her quickly.
Her amber gaze locked on the Bloodclan deputy. He was bringing in such a small kill? It seemed that not even he was please with it! After all, the tom spat that tiny bird out as though it were the most vile thing on the face of the Earth! It probably was--you never know where that thing has been. The long fur tabby she-cat slipped out of the shaded part of the clearing, instantly regretting it as the sun hit her eyes. Amaris let out a soft hiss in pain, closing her eyes as she shook her head. She began nocturnal for a few reasons, and that was one of them!
Once regaining her eyesight, the Bloodclan warrior went back to what she was doing--going up to the deputy. He may not be the... Best toms to speak to, but she was too bored to care. "Greetings, Hypocrisy." As she neared, her voice slipped out like velvet. Amaris dipped her head in a respectful greeting.

Hypocrisy's ears twitched forward, still desperately trying to get the taste of the bird from his mouth- To him it probably was the most disgusting thing ever.. That and all of the other prey that was caught running around the forest. The young deputy's short white whiskers twitched in absolutely disgust, his yellow eyes also showing it clearly.
He normally never ate prey such as mouse, thrush, vole... That was just unless he was absolutely desperate. After all.. He was cannibal.. Addicted to the flesh of cats, but never the flesh of the cats in his clan. He fed from the loners and rogues of whom passed through the territory.. And when he wasn't doing that he was probably off with random she-cats.. He wasn't usually one to mate with the she-cats of his clan unless devoted.. But.. Heh.. He was a tom and would do so if he was desperate for it.
The white and black spotted toms ears immediately laid flat on his head as he turned to look at Amaris. Well.. There was the kittypet of the clan.. But he didn't mind that. She was strong and that was something he found incredibly useful. She actually was a great success to the clan, that he knew and so he calmly greeted back, "Hello Amaris. And how are you on this fine day?" To be honest.. Even though he was of Bloodclan he was actually quite polite and charming... But that was only toward the clan mates, to all of the cats of the others clans he acted like the most vile and hateful thing that a rogue could have produced... And that was Hypocrisy himself.

Within the shadows of the leader's den, the she-cat sat, piercing stare focused on the camp beyond her den with a focused look. Focused on what, exactly, one might have difficulty figuring out. It skimmed once, twice - looked over each cat present, then searched the clearing itself with a critical expression. Tail coiled tightly over her paws, the tip flickered a few times, ticking along to whatever was working in her mind. Ears flickered back, and the stare narrowed a bit. Then, the Bloodclan leader picked herself up neatly, and stepped from the shadows, into the bright sunlight. It was a fairly warm day, not too hot - but definitely not chilly. A classic day of Newleaf. Prey should be plentiful soon enough. Stretching, Solitaire let her fur fluff for a moment, before settling herself in the sunlight, now, tail recoiling as it had been previously. Newleaf was a good time. A time to prosper. It was also a time when cats seemed to stray most from their duties. She'd have to keep an eye out for such behaviors. Now, she cast the glance over the camp again - this time, a mental role-call taken. Hypocrisy, the deputy, was present. Amaris, a warrior, was also - surprising, the she-cat was relatively nocturnal. It certaintly wasn't night. Another clear sign of spring - the camp was desolate. Which was fine, so long as the desolence brought a full pile of freshkill and safe borders. The camp, empty or not, was in order. Nothing needed tending to. A good sign. The cat licked a paw, bringing it over her ears. Very good signs indeed.

Like a silvery fish, Sight appeared from the shadows. Not there, and then there, like a he had somehow slipped from the shadows. As soon as his pelt hit the sunlight, it lit up like a shimmering hummingbird. But of all one colour, of course; a steel grey.
He grinned as he saw the others, bright eyes moving from one cat to another. He knew some of these characters weren’t the best of conversationalists, but he didn’t care at all. He could get along with anyone. Or, at least, pretend to- he was a slippery as the fish her sometimes resembled, cunning.
With great ease, he made his way to the center of the camp; giving his blunt-ended tail a swish toward every cat, in a greeting. “Goodday, Solitate, Amaris, Hypocrasy.” He was not named Sight for no reason. Although –apparently- not present until just now, he noticed the signs that some unpleasant thing had taken part in Hypocrasy’s day, and that Amaris, not fond of the light, was for some reason out in it.
He noticed Solitaire’s watchfulness, too, but.. That was less something to notice then something to know. From his mouth, he spat out some kind of vegetation; a herb, of some sort. Hell if he knew how to use it, but..It may come in handy for someone. Fresh kill would’ve been –more- useful, he knew, and the quick cat was a good hunter- But, in this light, he decided not to bother looking too hard. Althought he didn’t actually reflect any sort of light, he definitely did attract the eyes. The eyes of prey? Probably not, but, why bother trying? So, the herb- they didn’t usually run away.

"Speech" This sunlight was really getting on her nerves. It was Newleaf, for... Who did they worship again? Eh, she really didn't care. Wait, we're getting off topic. Newleaf should have rain, and she would really appreciate the rain right now. Or at least some dark, cloudy weather... Those were the days in which she was actually willing to be out and about during the day. However, on days where sleep never came to her, she just had to brace the sun and try not to get blinded in the process. Someone should really put out the sun...
She quickly noted the polite greeting from the mostly white tom. All non-Bloodclan cats better beware when he was around. Amaris was thankful that she was actually part of Bloodclan. Meeting Hypocrisy otherwise would mean her untimely death... "Sleepless, if you could call it a decent description of how I am today. " The long furred tabby let out an irritated sigh, cursing the sun under her breath like she always did. " What about you? Did you run into any non-clan members while you were out?" Amaris allowed her attention to be drawn to the next two cats who came to the clearing. Solitaire and Sight. The other she-cat and tom were rather tolerable, thank whoever-they-worship. " Greetings, Sight,--" The nocturnal cat nodded in respect to the slate grey tom. " --Solitaire." She then nodded toward the blue eyed she-cat as well, even if the leader didn't actually speak beforehand. It was always good to do so anyways, especially since Solitaire was the Bloodclan leader. Never cross a leader. Tags: Hypocrisy, Solitaire, Sight! Word Count: twosixnine! Hypocrisy's ears twitched calmly, his eyes shifting at the sight of Solitaire and Sight. The young tom stretched in a fairly restless manner as he shifted his yellow eyes back to Armaris, "I found a loner before I came into camp.." The tom admitted with the slump of his broad shoulders in a shrug.. "I can say that that conversation didn't last long." He said, choking back a chuckle as he recalled the loner, a she-cat actually, in which he had found begging for her life dead before his paws.
The tom shook his head slightly, twitching his ears dismissively at his thoughts before turning to his clanmate and leader. "Ah, hello there Sight.." The tom paused, automatically dipping his head in greeting to his leader. "And Solitaire.." He spoke swiftly, his skinny and bone-like tail lashing from side to side as he spoke.

Into the camp came another. Sight. It was really quite surprising, if one thought about it - how well some kittypets turned to warriors. Amaris and Sight were lovely examples. Not every kittypet, of course -- some weren't worth the air they required to survive. They were best off within the fences of the twoleg dens, and if they felt the need to stray, then cats like Hypocrisy would take good care of them, without a doubt. "Evening, Sight, Amaris, Hypocrisy." The greetings were returned, carefully in the order of which they came, a glance sent to each. Ah, she really was no social butterfly -- but this was her clan. Hostility to them would be very inappropriate, unless given a good reason, and she need not be too aloof. ..Had Sight brought.. herbs? Indeed. That was an interesting choice, really it was. Most cats brought prey - unless the medicine cat requested aid. "All is well, for each of you, I presume?" Another sharp, observing glance was sent to the three; Solitaire carefully checking over each, with a look of thoughtfulness. They all looked well. No injuries, no sickness. Healthy enough; or atleast in her opinion, they seemed to be. She was no medicine cat. Yes, the cold she-cat did care for her clan; she was just considerably antisocial, with limited patience.

Purred loudly. As if, perhaps, he was not of Bloodclan, but the happiest kit in the most StarClan-addicted clan around, torn free of all troubles in life. The second part was true. He had no troubles in life. To have troubles in life, you had to have at least a little sanity. Sight was much, much more lacking then he appeared.
His purring continued as he sat, tucking his paws in tightly, and curling his tail around himself. His gaze fell on Hypocrasy. With a grin and yet more purring, he dipped his head toward the tom. “Very good, very good. She was adequate, I assume?”
He could’ve been talking about a date, the way he spoke; but, no, he knew the real circumstances all to well. Hypocrasy did not scare him at all. No one scared him at all, actually. It was another one of his little..fallouts.
Kittypets had a hard time in the wild, usually. In his case, it was only a convenience- it added to his guise. Oh, no, I’m a sad, weak little kittypet! Until he loured you into a trap of innocent friendliness, and slaughtered you without mercy, with all the skill of a remorseless murderer, quick and slippery as a fish.
Now, the leader was who he focused on. “Fine, fine. Like always, my leader- I brought this herb. I’m not entire sure of how to use them, but.. I’m sure I could learn pretty quick” Ahaha .

"Speech" The long furred tabby eyed the herbs with mild curiosity. Really, why did the grey tom bring them herbs? Prey would have been a much better contribution to the clan. Of course, the Medicine Cat would be rather pleased with it... Unless the plant wasn't an actual herb...
Amaris flicked her tail, slowly sitting down and curling it around her paws. Her eyes narrowed in disgust as the sunlight seemed to become harsher as time went on. The once-kittypet really needed to slip back into the shadows once more. Maybe sleep would come to her now...
Well, if anything, she should at least attempt to keep up the conversation with the other three. At night, the only true company were those on night patrol and the random possum that sneaks into camp to steal food. She should probably catch that persistant nuisance. "Yes, all is well, Solitaire." Amaris turned in order glance over at the leader, blinking a few times as the motion caused more sunlight to hit her eyes.

Motif leaps across a muddy patch on the floor and lands delicately on the twisted roots of an ash tree some length away. His green-brown eyes flick from the trees around him to the sky and then to the the way the sunlight trickles through the leaves. For once the forest is dead silent, the way he prefers it. Think, this is what the entire world could be like. If only no one else lived in it. He laughs dryly at the idealistic turn his thoughts are taking. The black tom delicately steps around leaves and pebbles and heads towards camp. His sensitive hears twitch at the sound of voices coming from the Bloodclan camp. For some reason he had yet to find fault with those cats. Some of them had views that matched his to a certain extent and those that disagreed with him had yet to trouble him. "Hello..." His tail twitches as he tries to decide whether it's worth it to name them all. "Everyone. Is there some kind of meeting going on? It was kind of you to wait." He dips his head respectfully to Solitaire and Hypocrisy before sitting down besides Amaris.

Hypocrisy stretched softly, rolling his eyes dismissively at Sight before he automatically shifted his eerie eyes back over to his leader. "Ah yes, everything's wonderful." He added with a nod, shifting his eyes over to Motif and shaking his head. "Nah... No meeting, just talking, I do suppose." He answered with a swift shrug of his broad shoulders. "Though it seems to be turning more into a meeting.." Hypocrisy thought with a slight grimace, taking a step back from the ground of cats and stretching restlessly. Honestly he was much more used to being along, not really being much of being over crowded by other cats.

Icy stare focusing on the Russian Blue, a long stare was given at the grinning, purring tom. He'd retrieved 'herbs', without even knowing what they did -- which likely meant he didn't know if it was even a herb. Without a single word, the silvery she-cat was to her paws, body uncoiling and slipping forward swiftly. And, well, she'd approach, lift a paw, and attempt to bat him across the head. Nothing too harsh, of course; and claws entirely hidden away. Like a queen cuffing a bad kit. "If you wish to play medicine cat apprentice, I suggest you speak to the medicine cat first and find out what herbs to get. Otherwise, don't waste an effort picking possible weeds. Perhaps try hunting." A quick tongue-lashing, regardless of it she'd managed to bat him across the head. Then, swiftly as she'd approached, she turned, and retreated several pawsteps back, settling once more. No harm meant, really -- but, Solitaire found the whole 'bring back a random plant' thing.. well.. highly unamusing. She wouldn't turn on a clanmate over something that trivial, of course. Just.. possibly embarrass him. If that was possible. Amaris and Hypocrisy were well. Very good. Sight was, too. And Motif arrived in camp. A meeting? No. But Hypocrisy answered first; so no need to reiterate herself. "Evening, Motif. All is well with you, also, I presume?" Tail coiling around her paws, the silver tabby skimmed the group. The clan was a good one; well.. perhaps not 'good', atleast not by outsider views, but she was satisfied, and found little fault with any of them. Of course, had she found fault, she'd have dealt with it her own way. So, really, if all were alive and well, they had to be doing something that didn't totally irritate the antisocial she-cat.

Sight new better not to retreat when the leader neared him. Or..Swung at him. The hit had been taken without reaction at all. Although, he did stop purring. Not because he was any less amused, of course- Even Solitaire's comment didn't dampen his spirits anyway. Nor Hipocrasy's dismissiveness. He was simply not that kind of cat. As the newest arrival entered, his gaze changed directions; focusing on Motif. "Goodday, motif." What was good about, one may ask? Every day was a good day! Even when Solitiare had just cuffed you upside the head. Atleast a little quieter, but unwilling to leave the place with so many more cats in it, he rolled over; first flopping over on his side playfully, before streaching to his full length in the grass. Even his tail streched out, as his paws flexing and unflexing.

Hypocrisy blinked restlessly, shaking out his white pelt. "I think I'm gonna go hunting.." He said in a swift and admittable voice. "I'll be back later.." He said with a small nod before slinking away from the ground and swiftly trotting out of the camp. [[ Sorry on the leave, guys. ^^ I just had another thread idea that I was dying to make with Hypocrisy.. ]]

"Speech" Well, this certainly became boring quickly. The long furred she-cat yawned, standing back on to her paws as she shook her tabby pelt. She murmered a quiet farewell to Hypocrisy as he left before turning her gaze to Motif. She gave a grunt in disapproval before turning to Solitaire. "I best be off. You can expect me back in the clearing around night fall." With that, Amaris stalked back over to the shadows, hoping to get at least a few hours of sleep before nightmare-ish memories cloud her mind.

"Perfectly fine." Motif says pleasantly to Solitaire. He pads over to the fresh kill pile and delicately picks up a mouse before returning to where he'd been previously sitting. The tip of his tail twitches as he eats, the only indication that he's not as content as he seems. I cannot be happy to settle as one cat in this overpopulated clan! He thinks to himself. It is not enough to simply be a member... but how to change that? "So how have you been, Solitaire? He asks once he's finished eating. He supposes he should have asked the question before he'd gotten food, it would have been more polite... but oh well.

Sight was watched once more as he greeted Motif, then flopped to the ground. He was a bit less obnoxious, atleast. Not that he'd been all that before -- to say the she-cat was even annoyed at him would, honestly, be untrue. But this was Bloodclan, and he was a warrior, not a kit or medicine cat apprentice. If he really wanted to collect herbs, then a rank change was in order. However, she found it unlikely that was so. Hypocrisy announced his leave, and Amaris did, a moment later. Each was given a nod of approval. She had nothing more, afterall, to say to them. They were free to attend their own business. Whatever that may be. The silvery she-cat could guess, really. There would be one less loner today; and Amaris would likely rest. As nocturnal creatures did at this hour. Her focus shifted, icy stare now flickering between the two that remained. Sight and Motif. "Very well, thank you." Licking a paw and bringing it over her head, the Bloodclan leader was silent, now; observing the remaining cats nonchalantly. Perhaps she'd go hunting or patroling soon. Somewhere, there was a tresspasser who could be antagonized for her amusement.

Slowly, everyone began to slip away. Sight found this a little disappointing; of course, any sociopath could only be displeased so long, even as his audience abandoned him. There were still two here; he did not feel the need to follow anyone. Even if he liked following. Eventually, one of these days, he would be caught doing that- and someone would be very displeased. He didn’t worry of this but..He would very much dislike it if he lost any ‘potential’ socialites because of his mild stalking tendencies. He really was loyal to BloodClan, too. It would be unfortunate if he was forced to kill anyone. On the ground, he curled back up from his stretch; giving a paw a lick. Fully aware of Solitaire’s gaze shifting between him and Mink, he was in need of becoming the center of attention. But, er..Not in a bad way, as previously. Solitiare’s cuff had displeased him..Slightly. It was also sort of a turn on. He wouldn’t mention that. He rather liked his manhood. “So, Mink. Up to anything interesting, lately?” Run, mink. Don’t talk to the nutcase. He’ll start talking back. ..Well, his talking back was pretty much a given, being responded to or not. He had no intentions of gaining rank (or changing it), within BloodClan..That didn’t insure that he wouldn’t get grime on people anyway, just for his own amusement. And, really, with his mentality.. One couldn’t really be sure exactly what he would do. Chances were something bad- or nothing at all. It depended on the time of day, season, mood, active brain chemicals, and previous events. In essence, he was unmappable. It was part of what made him.. Such a lovely cat.
