Jaystar is a small cat, though in battle, she may seem as if a cat from Lionclan. She is light silver/blue with round amber eyes. On her stomach is a small scar from which she got from a battle against Windclan.

Jaystar is a loving leader and is very kind toward kits. She is hot-tempered as well, though this happens more when it comes to the other clans. She doesn't trust the other clans, and especially Windclan because when she was an apprentice and an early warrior, Windclan was their enemy.

Her mother was a beautiful orange tabby, though she came out to look like her father, Stormwhisker, who she never got to know. Her mother's name was Mousetail, and she had two sisters, Heatherkit, who died about three days after they were born, and Amberclaw, who died in a battle a few moons after they became warriors. When Jaystar became a warrior about a moon earlier, no one knows why.
